Welcome to the website of the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, Baggot Street Community Hospital, Dublin 4.

The Stroke Rehabilitation Unit provides wide-ranging rehabilitation and support to people with stroke, their families and their carers.

It is the only dedicated stroke out-patient facility in the Republic of Ireland.  

Our aim is to enable individuals to reach their maximum level of function and independence in all aspects of life.

We aim to minimise stroke-related disability and to enhance active participation in everyday life skills through treatment, education and adaptive techniques.
